Asian style Radish Salad

Someone at the market was telling me about how he eats radishes and it sounded so good that  I told him he could have the radishes if he sends the recipe – and here it is!  The dressing he says is also great on other things like Turnips, kale, chard, etc.

Ingredients:
1 bunch of radishes
Dressing:
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbsp white vinegar (or white wine or rice vinegar)
1 tsp demerera sugar
1 clove garlic, crushed in salt
1 tbsp of sesame seeds, roasted and ground (or sesame oil)
Smash the radishes so that they open but are still more or less whole
Pour the vinaigrette over top of the radishes
This vinaigrette works with a bunch of other veggies, notably steamed kale, chard, spinach, etc.

Sounds good. Tried the roasted radish recipe but tried the raw greens and found them bitter so sauted them in the brown butter…awesome!
