An unbelievably beautiful day on the farm…so much sunshine, we got our first sunburns of the year in October.  We’re now harvesting the last planting of broccoli – almost perfect timing!

Manure spreading started Friday, so far it’s going well; I only broke the spreader four times in the last four days, and so I’m only three and half days behind schedule.  The latest fix was today and seems to be holding so far…fingers crossed.

Sarah and Nicole  will be running the farm this week while I try to catch up on prepping for next year’s fields.I don’t know what I’d do without them!  I unfortunately probably won’t be at the market this week because at this rate it’s going to take a while to get it done and I don’t want to run out of time.

The kohlrabi right now is fall kohlrabi and is actually meant to be large – much larger than in the spring.  There’s a lot of kohlrabi in these kohlrabi.

It’s the last week for most people for this years CSA.  We’ll still be around for 2 more weeks doing the extra 2 weeks for those who signed up.

Thanks everyone for signing up this year.  We hope you enjoyed it and hope to see everyone again next year

Jonathan, Nicole and Sarah.
